   = ಅಕಟ, etc. an interjection expressing pain, sorrow or distress (ಖೇದ Śmd. 393), envy, displeasure (ಕ/?/ಬು Ct. I, 86), and wonder or surprise (ಅಚ್ಚರಿ Śmd. 393). (My.; S. Mhr. pretty C.; Tē. ಅಕಟೆ, ಅಕ್ಕಟ). [ಅರಗಿನ ಮನೆಯೊಳ್ ಪಾಂಡವರುರಿದ/?/ ದರಕ್ಕಟಯ್ಯೊ Pb. 3, 7; Ap. 2, 35]. ಬಿಜ್ಜಳನು ನಸು ನಗುತ (ಎನ್ದಂ) ಬಸವಯ್ಯ, ಅಕ್ಕಟ ಮುಸುಕಿತೇ ಶಿವ ಮರುಳು ನಿನ್ನುವಂ?
