   ಸಂಧ್ಯಾವಂದನೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ವೈದಿಕ ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಂಗೈ ಗುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧೋದಕವನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದು.
