   ಧಾರಾ = ದಾರೆ 1. the flowing or dropping of any liquid; a stream or current of water (see Rśv. 8, 118); a torrent, a shower. 2, the pace of a horse (see ಪಂಚ-). 3, the sharp edge of a sword or any cutting instrument; an edge. — ಧಾರೆ ಎ/?/ (the donor of any thing) to pour water (on the gift, and thus to deliver it to the recipient, in order to make it irrevocable, My.). ಊರುಗಳನ್ ಊರಗ್ರಹಾರವ ಧಾರೆಯನು ಎ/?/ದಿತ್ತು (Kanaka's Bhaktisāra v. 106). ಧಾರೇ ಎ/?/ದು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇ/?/ ಮಾತು ಉಣ್ಟೇ?
