   = ಘಟ್ಟ which is a Tatsama (Śm. 77). a ghaut, a mountain-range (C.; Mhr. ಘಾಟ cf. ಕಡದು 5). ಗಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ (the western coast, My.; Si. 158). ಗಟ್ಟದ ಉಪ್ಪು, ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ನೆಲ್ಲಿಕಾಯಿ (both of which are excellent). ಅಟ್ಟ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವಲ್ಲ, ಗಟ್ಟ ಮೇರುವಲ್ಲ (Prvs.). ಗಟ್ಟ ಬೆಟ್ಟವ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕಷ್ಟಬಟ್ಟಿಹ ಚರಣ (Dp. 104). see Prvs. s. ಮಠ, ಮುಟ್ಟು 1; Rām. 6, 14, 29.
