   = ದಡೆಯ a weight of ten sērs and equivalent to the fourth of a maund (My.; Mhr., H. ಧಡಾ Te.). ಬೆಲ್ಲವಿದ್ದ ಕಡೆನೊಣ, ದಡೆ ನಾಲ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಮಣ (Prv.). 2, a weight put into the opposite side to counterbalance the receiving vessel (Mhr. ಧಡಾ ಧಡೀ My.; Te.; T. ತಡೈ, ತಡೈಯ M. ತಡಯ). ದಡೆ ಕಟ್ಟು to produce equipoise (My.).
