   miṇḍu1. -a3. 1. a man who does not restrain the animal passion, a libertine, a paramour, an illicit lover, a whoremaster (Cpr. 8, 73 va.; Bp. 11, 5. 6; 40, 13. 25. 56; 42, 13. 19. 29; Si. 193; G. 139; G. 139; My.; Te.). [Tu. ಮಿಣ್ಡೈ]. ಗಣ್ಡ ಬಯ್ದರೈ ಹುಚ್ಚು, ಮಿಣ್ಡ ಬಯ್ದರೈ ಮೈಚ್ಚು (Prv.). — ಮಿಣ್ಡಜಂಗಮ. a lascivious Jaṅgama (Bp. 6, 33; 11, 2. 23. 43. 50). — ಮಿಣ್ಡ ಪ್ರಾಯ the age in which animal passion is powerful, nubile age, etc. (Bp. 25, 9. 10). — ಮಿಣ್ಡಭಕ್ತ. a lascivious devotee (Bp. 11, 37). — ಮಿಣ್ಡವನ್ದಿ. -ಹನ್ದಿ. a lusty hog (Bh. 3, 13, 18). — ಮಿಣ್ಡ ಸಂಗಯ್ಯ N.    miṇḍu 2-a3. 2. a man of high position or character: a hero (Bh. 3, 18, 38). 2, somebody (or something) that is above or beyond another's reach, beyond his faculties, or out of his power. ಕತ್ತೈ ಚಿತ್ರಗಾರನ ಮಿಣ್ಡ (is an object that he never can draw well), ಹಣ ನೋಟಗಾರನ ಮಿಣ್ಡ (is something he is likely to make mistakes about), ಟವಣೈ ಶಾನಭೋಗನ ಮಿಣ್ಡ. - ದೋಣೀ ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೈ ಅಮ್ಬಿಗಾರನ ಮಿಣ್ಡ. -ಹೌಳೆ ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೈ ಅಮ್ಬಿಗರ ಮಿಣ್ಡ. -ತುರುಕ ಮಿಣ್ಡ ಬರುವಾಗ್ಯೈ ಎದುರು ಚುಕ್ಕಿಯೇ?
