   = ಬುಡು, ಬೌಡ. a sound in imitation of that produced by a vessel, etc. when immersed in water, or by water issuing from the spout of a vessel, or by purging (see Prv. s. ಬೌಡಬೌಡನೈ). and of that produced by the buḍabuḍike (C.; Te.; Mhr. ಬುಡ ಬುಡಣೀಂ, to bubble; to mumble, mutter). — ಬುಡ ಬುಡನೈ. with a repetition of the sound of buḍa (My.). — ಬುಡಬುಡಿಕೈ. = ಬುಡು ಬುಡಿಕೈ. (My.; ಡಮರು Si. 63). — ಬುಡಬುಡಿಸು. to have or produce the repeated sound of buḍa (Rām. 3, 8, 4).
