   = ಪುಡಿ powder; dust; etc. (C.; B. 1, 18). ಹೂವಿನೌಳಗಿನ ಹಳದೀ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಹುಡಿ (ಬಣ್ಣು); ಹೂವಿನೌಳಗಿನ ಹುಡಿ (ಸುಮನೋರಜ G.). ಸಣ್ಣ ಹುಡಿ (ಧೂಲಿ, etc. Mr. 284). ಅಡವಿಯೌಳು ಮಳೈ ಹೌಡದು ಗಿಡ ಸೇಡುಗೌಣ್ಡನ್ದು, ಹುಡಿಯೌಳಗೈ ಕಮಲ ಬೈಳದನ್ದು ಹೈಣ್ಣಿನ ನುಡಿಯ ನೈಚ್ಚು!
