[ಕೇಡಡಸಿದ್ದನು ಬಗೆಯಂ ಮಾಡದು Kr. 1, 72; ಬೆಳ್ಗಳ ಕೃತಿಬನ್ಧಮುಂ ಬರೆಹಕಾ/?/ರ ಕೈಗಳ ಕೇಡು Pb. 1, 12]. ಎನ್ದೂ ಕೇಡಿಲ್ಲದುದು (ಸನಾತನ, ನಿತ್ಯ Nr.). ಕೇಡಿಲ್ಲದುದು (ನಿತ್ಯ Nn. 18. 41. 59; ನಿತ್ಯ, ಅನಶ್ವರ 132). ತನ್ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಗೆ ಕೇಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುಹ (ಸ್ಥಾನ), ಪರರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡ ಮಾಡಿ ತನಗೆ ಲೇಸು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳುಹ (ವೃದ್ಧಿ); ತನ್ನ ಕೆಡಸಿದಂಗೆ ಕೇಡ ಮಾಡುಹ (ಕ್ಷಯ); ಕೇಡು ಅಡಸಿದವನು (ಆಪನ್ನ, ಆಪತ್ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತ Nr.). ತನಿಗೆ (= ತನಗೆ) ಆಗದವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಟುಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಮ್ಬ ಪಾಪಬುದ್ಧಿ (ಅಸೂಯೆ Si. 69). ಪರರರ್ಥವ ಸೆಳೆದು ಕೊಮ್ಬ, ಪಾತಕನದಿಂ ಪರರ ಪೀಡಿಪ ಪಾಪಿಗೆ ಪರರರ್ಥಂ ಗತಿಯ ಕೇಡು (Jmt. 22). ಕೇಡು ಬರುವ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡುವದು ದುರ್ಬುದ್ಧಿ. -ಕೇಡು ಬರುವ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ (ತಾನು) ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೂ ತಪ್ಪದು (Prvs.). see Śmd. 69. 139; Bp. 40, 74; 48, 15; 56, 2. 21. 37; 61, 5; Bh. 1, 8, 56; B. 2, 8; 4, 171; Prv. s. ಬುದ್ಧಿ. -ಕೇಡುಗಾಲ. -ಕಾಲ a disastrous period (C.). ಕೇಡುಗಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯೀ ಮ/?/ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಯಿಕ್ಕಿತು. -ಕೇಡುಗಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಮರಣಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲ (Prvs.). ಕೇಡುಸುದ್ದಿ evil tidings (C.).
