   a contraction of -ಉವಕೆ the dative form of a verbal noun formed of -ಉವ 2 No. 2, such a noun at present appearing only in this case, e. g. ಅಡೋಕೆ, ನಡೆಯೋಕೆ, ಹೋಗೋಕೆ, ಬರೆಯೋಕೆ, ಮಾಡೋಕೆ etc. (My.), ಉಮ್ಬೋಕೆ (in Prvs. s. ಅಮ್ಬು 4 and ಬ/?/ಗಾಲ). see -ವ 4, and cf. note ad -ಅ 4. ಊರೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಡೋಕೆ ಹೊ/?/ಟರೆ ಕೊಡೋರು ಯಾರು?
