   ಮೀಸಲು (i. e. ಮಿಗಿಸಲ್ that which is left for or is different from). any thing (as food, water, milk, money, a cow and its products, plates, a business, etc.) that is set apart for some purpose (e. g. to be used for children, guests, beggars, idols, one's self, etc.) and is to be left untouched till the object is accomplished; anything untouched or undefiled (see ನಾಣ್ಮೀಸಲ್); that which is dedicated or vowed (ಬಳಸದಿರ್ಪುದು Bhn. 9; My.; M. ಮೀತ್ತು; Te. ಮೀದು; cf.
